Founded by Raivo Vihman in 2008, Haystack Joinery began as a small timber frame shop in the shadow of Haystack Mountain in the old cannery in Liberty, Maine. We built and moved to our current solar powered shop in Freedom in 2017. While we have expanded our scope of work, we remain passionate, curious, and committed to building design-driven projects with impeccable execution. We work with homeowners, contractors and architects alike to create beautiful timber structures with a sculptural sensibility.
